Babou Olengha-Aaby can look back at, in her own words; an extremely busy, yet really fulfilling autumn and early winter period.
Through her company The Next Billion she is working to enable female entrepreneurs to gain access to funding, the right network and to develop skills that will allow them to successfully build and grow economically sustainable businesses.
– That’s why we’ve designed Access2 – a program of events to make ‘Access finally more Accessible’ – by providing female entrepreneurs with ‘real face-to-face’ access to the people that matter.
Access and inspiration
Access2 is a series of monthly dinners giving female entrepreneurs access to a ‘host’ of inspirational role models. Each month, one host will welcome up to 8 female entrepreneurs to their own actual home – to share with them their experience, knowledge and network in an inclusive and authentic environment.
So far, two successful dinners have been hosted, by Rolf Assev, partner in StartupLab, and then Anita Krohn Traaseth from Innovation Norway.
Babou shares that she is now finalising planning for the upcoming 4 events, taking place in the early part of 2016.
Valuable sharing and networking
– The two completed events have so far proven what I had hoped – and initiated valuable processes and extended the networks for the entrepreneurs who took part, says Babou.
