Oslo Innovation Week (OIW) is the largest innovation convention in Europe, making it a significant meeting place to discuss opportunities and practices for growth and innovation every year. The dates for 2014 are October 13-17th, where over 50 different events will take place across the Norwegian capital.
Who attends OIW?
Oslo Innovation Week is aimed at entrepreneurs, investors, creatives, developers and visionaries across an extensive variety of sectors. Last year the convention gathered 6000 local and international attendees from tech, cultural industries, marketing and communication, health, energy, media, public institutions and more.
How Oslo Innovation Week works?
The schedule is a selection of events that are of innovative relevance, support the selected topics for OIW 2014, are future oriented and sustainable, and demonstrate sufficient quality.
By combining forces, all events are strengthened through common marketing, and by the presentation of the organizers as part of a dynamic innovation community. All the events, including individual schedules, marketing and other practicalities such as tickets and updates, are managed by each organizer. Oslo Innovation Week coordinates and markets the overall program.
Oslo Innovation Week is managed by Oslo Business Region (previously Oslo Teknopol). Project owners are The City of Oslo, Akershus County Council and Innovation Norway.
