European Angel Investment Summit 2019

After 17 editions, the EBAN Winter University is giving way to a much larger, more international and high-level event called the European Angel Investment Summit.

The Summit will take place in Brussels on November 25th-26th, putting business angels in the spotlight and highlighting how they bring economic dynamism by financing innovation and taking risks early on.

EBAN is partnering with the European Investment Project Portal, the European Commission DG GROW and DG ECFIN, as well as the Enterprise Europe Network for the event.

The Summit aims to accelerate the speed of innovation and grow the culture of entrepreneurship throughout Europe, by using angel investors as a catalyst and bringing more disruptive technologies to the market. Angels are instrumental to the entrepreneurial ecosystem as they are enablers of great ideas, and are able to tell early on if a project has the potential to get to the market and scale. They also transfer entrepreneurial know how to the next generation of founders.
