Prisene er bransjens egen hyllest til de beste prestasjonene i året som gikk, innen entreprenørskap og venture. “Norwegian Venture Capital Awards” for 2015 ble delt ut under et kveldsarrangement på Norwegian Investment Forum torsdag 15. oktober.

Juryen som besto av erfarne aktører fra bransjen: Karl-Christian Agerup, Oslotech (tidl. Northzone), Jostein Vik, Viking Venture & Board of Directors NVCA, Jørgen Blystad, Argentum og Rune Sævik, Investinor. Prisutdelingen fant sted i forbindelse med Norwegian Investment Forum i Forskningsparken i Oslo. Alle prisene gjelder prestasjoner oppnådd i perioden 1. september 2014 til 31. august 2015.
Prisene er organisert av Norwegian Investment Forum i samarbeid med Norwegian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (NVCA).

SINTEF TTO – Investor of the Year 2015
This award is for professional excellence and is open to all Norwegian individuals, investment firms and corporate investment arms that make investments predominantly in early stage companies.
The judges have been looking for evidence demonstrating:
– A track record of innovative fundraising, investments and exits in the early stage sector
– A reputation for adding considerable value – not just finance – to portfolio companies in early stage
– A reputation for working closely with the early stage investment community
– A strong network from which to source deals
– An ability to assess opportunities, manage the due diligence process and close deals in difficult circumstances

Resman – Exit of the Year 2015
This award is open to all Norwegian investors who achieved an exit for shares or cash.
The judges have been looking for evidence demonstrating:
– Role in growing the business
– Role in the exit strategy and executing the deal
– The shareholder value created by the exit
– The impact on the Founder shareholders
– The positive impact on the wider community
This year’s nominees: Resman (Four winners: Resman, Verdane Capital, Statoil and SINTEF TTO), Gas Secure (Viking Venture, SINTEF TTO) and Banqsoft (Verdane Capital).
Knut Sandveen – Entrepreneur of the year 2015
This award is to acknowledge Norwegian entrepreneurs and their contribution to the European economy.
We are looking for the standout Entrepreneur of the year who has made a significant impact in the past 12 months through:
– Their contribution to the Entrepreneurial eco-system
– Successful fundraising or exit activity
– Successes in the past year such as business growth, leadership excellence and delivering value to shareholders
– The viability and future growth potential of their business
This year’s nominees: Knut Sandveen with GasSecure, Henrik Müller Hansen in Gelato Group and Ivar Krogrud in Admincontrol.
